About Graphic Design

What I do: Graphic design, photography and digital art for the web and print. I create user-friendly, logical and elegant websites, advertisements, business cards, invitations, brochures, posters, and logos.

Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark XPress, Dreamweaver, JQuery, and PHP among others. I write my own HTML and CSS.

Experience: With over ten years as a print and web designer combined with years of pre-press work, I have the experience and knowledge to see projects through from concept to reality on the web and the printed page.

Web: Vigils For Healing

Design, HTML, CSS, Photoshop. A non-profit organization, Vigils for Healing holds public spiritual observances to mark loss of life in North Carolina due to violence. The organization needed an attractive website that was organized and easy to navigate.

Web: Seaview

Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, Photography. A website for Seaview, a vacation and rental property in North Carolina. I took many of the photographs featured in the site.

Web: Run, Rev., Run

Design, HTML, CSS, CMS. First Presbyterian Church asked me to set up a blog for a pastor who is a runner and a prolific writer. Using Type Pad for the CMS, I added custom design elements as well.

Print: Sunflower

Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cover Photography, InDesign. A tri-fold brochure for the Sunflower, a beach house in Corolla, North Carolina.

Print: FPC Music Poster

Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Photography, InDesign. Poster for the music department at First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. It was displayed around the campus and the city.
